3 juveniles taken into custody for school break-ins

DANVILLE – Three juveniles were taken into custody Tuesday in connection with two burglaries at an grade school, police said.

The burglaries of Toliver Elementary School happened Monday night and again early Tuesday morning. Video surveillance showed that the second burglary involved one of the juveniles from the first break-in, plus a different juvenile and an accompanying adult, police said.

Investigators contacted the juveniles and recovered computer and electronic equipment worth thousands of dollars, police said.

Meanwhile, an arrest warrant has been issued for Jae-Paul Jones, 18, of Danville. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Danville police at (859) 238-1220.
