LOUISVILLE — A Louisville man has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and a dozen other charges related to a fatal hit-and-run last month.

Kenielle D. Finch was remanded to the Louisville Metro Detention Center on $250,000 bail Thursday morning.

A grand jury indicted Finch on Wednesday on 14 charges including assault and fleeing or evading police.

Finch was allegedly at the wheel when 5-year-old Claudia Fay Wadlington and 4-year-old Riley Jane Lawrence were struck by a car outside a restaurant on July 25. Claudia’s mother, Angie Wadlington, was injured in the accident.

Finch had been pulled over by police and sped away shortly before the girls were struck.

A pretrial hearing in Finch’s case is set for Oct. 20.
