Wanted: Missouri man suspected of bank robbery

Lexington police have have obtained an arrest warrant for a 37-year-old Missouri man suspected of robbing a PNC Bank on Harrodsburg Road last December.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Joseph Paul Young. He is facing a charge of first-degree robbery.

Detectives have been working with Charleston, West Virginia law enforcement officials, as well as other law enforcement agencies throughout the country to identify Joseph Paul Young of Rogersville. Upon his arrest, Rogers will be facing a charge of first-degree robbery.

The robbery occurred on December 31 at approximately 10:16 a.m. Police say Young entered the bank at 2515 Harrodsburg Road and demanded cash. The teller complied with his demands and then Young fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbery was captured by bank surveillance cameras.
